Human-Centered Professional specialized in Innovation Prototyping
Good ideas should not languish on a shelf, but should become reality. A prototype allows you to present, test and develop your idea. In our Innovation Prototyper training programme, we provide you with in-depth background knowledge and proven methodological expertise to develop services and products in a holistic, model-based way. You will also gain an overview of how to realise prototypes collaboratively.
Explorative and interactive teaching concept
Our two-week training programme has been designed in such a way that the content and exercises can be applied directly to the practice of your profession. You will learn the basic principles of human-centred prototype development and gain an overview of the processes and methodologies for developing services and business models, digital products and haptic products. You will also be given specific tools to develop these prototypes.
We will primarily use a collaborative whiteboard for prototyping, which will guide you throughout the course. Best practices and challenges will help you find starting points for integrating prototyping methods and skills into your organisation.
Room for current challenges
Our training programme specifically addresses the new reality of remote working. As an innovation prototyper, you will be able to iteratively engage relevant stakeholders, including user groups, in the prototyping process. To this end, the training programme provides practical methodological skills for remote and live collaboration in an online working environment.
Our training programme also addresses the issue of sustainability, which is becoming increasingly important in product development. Important approaches such as 'eco-design principles' for the design of haptic products are addressed and explained.
Support beyond the training
Even after completing the training, Fraunhofer FIT's usability specialists are available to answer your questions. In addition, you will gain access to a community of usability engineers where you can exchange practical experience.
