Certified Design Thinking Professional

Creative solutions to complex challenges

Drive innovation in your company. Do you want to be at the cutting edge of new concepts, services and products?

If you're an innovation officer in a company, a self-employed person looking for the next challenge, or someone interested in methodically structured innovation development, certification as a 'Human-Centered Professional in Design Thinking' is for you. Get off to a flying start!

Our training will make you a certified 'Design Thinking Professional' and ready to use creative methods throughout the entire Design Thinking process. You will learn the principles, methods and phases of design thinking in a practical and hands-on way. The focus is on learning in virtual space to strengthen remote teams and integrate them more effectively.

You will learn how to move from problem definition to innovative solutions using practical exercises on application-related methods in the course of the design thinking process.

Our Human-Centered Engineering & Design trainers are the best in the business, with many years of experience in conceiving and implementing human-centred approaches. In recent years, we have led the way in remote implementation of design thinking methods.

As part of the training programme, we also share our extensive experience from research projects, workshops and projects in cooperation with industry, and deepen and expand this during the joint exchange.

Directly applicable and practice-orientated

The training programme spans four weeks. During this period, all content and exercises are designed so that you can apply them directly in practice.

Interactive and reflective

The training programme will enable participants to assume the role of a 'design thinker', developing innovative solutions to given problems in an online format. In addition, it will facilitate critical reflection on the position and role of organisers of virtual design thinking processes. This will enable participants to identify and name potential challenges in their own companies and develop potential solutions in dialogue with other participants.

Support beyond the training

Even after completing the training, Fraunhofer FIT's usability specialists are available to answer your questions. In addition, you will gain access to a community of usability engineers where you can exchange practical experience.
